About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Clinical Development, a key executive role that demands a visionary and strategic leader in the field of oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and leading the clinical development strategy, from early to late-stage development, with a focus on advancing transformational therapies for cancer patients. This includes ownership of the Clinical Development Plan, leading the design and execution of clinical studies, and integrating a wide range of scientific and clinical data to inform key development decisions. The role also involves leading a team of Medical Directors and Clinical Scientists, fostering a culture of scientific excellence, and representing the company within the oncology community. Candidates for the Vice President, Clinical Development position at the company should hold an MD with board certification in Medical Oncology or a related specialty, and have a minimum of 14 years of experience in oncology drug development within the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading clinical development programs, including experience with regulatory interactions and NDA/BLA submissions, and expertise in designing and executing biomarker-driven oncology clinical trials. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is a deep understanding of oncology drug development and global regulatory requirements. The role requires a resourceful, adaptable, and execution-oriented individual with a passion for advancing innovative therapies for cancer patients.
