By also managing student behavior with the support of your monitor and following all safety regulations, you will help us realize our mission of supporting and empowering students to excel to their greatest potential. Bus driver substitutes work up to 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, on an as-needed basis. Special School District serves nearly 25,000 students and employs over 5,700 staff in St. Louis County. Salary $20.99 to $27.64/hr based on experience. Education and Experience Education and transportation experience preferred. Experience working with children preferred. Must be 21 or older at time of hire. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Currently hold or qualify for a Class B Commercial Driver's License, a School Bus Driver's endorsement, and a passenger endorsement (may obtain through District-provided training) required. Must hold a current driver's license with an excellent driving record. Calendar 10-month school year (August to June) - exact dates dependent on assigned location(s).
