Evo Associates is a team performance consultancy built on a contrarian premise: neither your MBA nor your company taught you how teams actually work. We use organizational psychology to understand the players, organizational behavior to understand the playbook, and the study of complex systems to understand the plays - helping organizations build teams that perform, not through heroic leaders, but by creating the conditions where collective capability emerges. Less org chart, more ecosystem. We're a new practice founded by Dr. Michael Morand - Fortune 50 strategist, military veteran, adjunct professor, and author of the forthcoming Quantum Teams (Fast Company Press, 2027) and the TEDx talk "Leadership, Not Leaders." The premise, in one line: leadership is a function of teams, not a trait of individuals. The Role This is Evo's first full-time hire - the one who comes in after our summer associate class to help build on initial momentum with the practice. You'll work directly with Michael across the full range of standing up a consulting practice from the ground up: Research & Methodology - dig into the science of team performance to sharpen our frameworks and challenge our assumptions Content & Marketing - help shape articles, our growing social presence, and podcast production Business Development - build engagement strategies and client-facing resources Operations - create the processes that don't exist yet, and improve the ones that do You'll also get real client-facing exposure: helping design and lead workshops, diagnostics, and strategy sessions, then turning what we learn into reports, presentations, and frameworks. Real work on real problems - this isn't a seat where you wait to be told what to do. You A bachelor's in business, economics, psychology, organizational development, or a related field (advanced degree welcome, not required) Strong research and analysis - you can turn messy qualitative and quantitative inputs into something clear Excellent writing; it matters here more than most places Curiosity about why the conventional wisdom on leadership and teams keeps coming up short Comfort with ambiguity - we're building the plane while flying it A plus: interest or experience in organizational psychology, organizational behavior, systems thinking, or facilitation Details Full-time, 40 hours/week On-site in Princeton, NJ - Fridays flexible Start: August or September 2026 We think the best teams don't need a hero.
