Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Summary Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist dedicated to providing high-quality imaging, patient safety, and excellent customer experience. The role involves producing diagnostic images, following departmental and regulatory protocols, and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and self, adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Verify patient identity and perform procedures following proper protocols and radiation safety principles. Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and communicate effectively. Obtain patient history, review exam orders, and ensure proper patient positioning and technique. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals correctly, perform nuclear medicine procedures, and participate in quality initiatives. Assist with departmental improvements, attend meetings, and support team goals. Follow all relevant regulations and standards, including Joint Commission and ACR guidelines. Qualifications Graduate of a JRCNMT-accredited Nuclear Medicine Program. Current nuclear medicine technologist license in the state. Registry eligible or certified by ARRT or NMTCB. Prior nuclear medicine experience preferred. Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Card. Strong communication, computer, and technical skills.
