Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient production of materials* Perform routine inspections and make adjustments to maintain optimal performance* Load, unload, and move materials using plant machinery and tools* Follow safety procedures and support a culture of continuous improvement* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily operations**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated ability to safely operate or learn plant and heavy equipment* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety standards* Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt in a fast-paced environment* Reliable team player with effective communication and collaboration skills* Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and take initiative on assigned tasks**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $29.15 per hour* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
