We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient billing, insurance claims processing, payment posting, and ensuring accurate reimbursement while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities: Submit and track insurance claims electronically. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility. Review and resolve claim denials and reimbursement issues. Post payments and reconcile accounts. Maintain accurate patient billing records. Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims. Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment arrangements. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations. Qualifications: Previous experience in medical billing and coding preferred. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and billing software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
