Job Description Job Description Benefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off Signing bonus About the Role: Tender Smiles 4 Kids of Monmouth is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our fun, kid-focused team in Freehold, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young patients by helping create positive, stress-free dental experiences from an early age. Responsibilities: Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and dental procedures Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients Must have active NJ dental x-ray license or currently enrolled in a course. Build rapport with young patients to help ease dental anxiety and ensure comfort Communicate clearly with parents and guardians regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using dental practice management software Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols Requirements: Prior dental assisting experience, preferably in a pediatric setting Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred Radiography (X-ray) certification or willingness to obtain CPR/BLS certification preferred Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a natural ability to connect with children Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Only apply if dependable, reliable and punctual. Full Time-Monday through Friday-8:20-5:45pm 8:20-3:00 on Fridays during the months of July and August $500.00 Signing bonus after 6 months of employment.
