Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for our commercial and residential clients. A commitment to customer satisfaction and safety is paramount in this role. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in HVAC systems using testing equipment and technical diagrams. Complete emergency repairs promptly and efficiently, including after-hours calls and weekend on-call duties as scheduled. Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide maintenance guidelines, and offer recommendations for system improvements or replacements. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and necessary documentation for each job. Adhere to safety protocols and occupational health and safety regulations at all times. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components. Valid HVAC technician license or certification (e.g., EPA Certification for refrigerant handling). High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program is preferred. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work plans. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions, including confined spaces and on ladders.
