We have plenty of work for you.If you know your way around a commercial property and can walk into a job, figure out what needs to happen and take care of it without someone holding your hand all day — we should talk.Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia is looking for an experienced Commercial Handyman / Maintenance Craftsman who enjoys working with his hands and wants to stay in the field.We're not looking for someone who needs to be taught the basics.We're looking for someone who has real-world experience and knows how to get things done.What You'll Be Working OnOur commercial customers have plenty of work that needs a skilled person who can handle a little bit of everything.Your day might include:Commercial carpentry and finish workDoors frames and hardwareDrywall repair and paintingFlooring and tile repairsLight plumbingLight electricalCeiling and wall repairsShelving and fixture installationTrim and millworkPunch-list workGeneral building repairsTenant improvements and small remodeling projectsEvery property is different.One day you're repairing a door at an office.The next you're handling drywall and trim at a retail location.Then you may be knocking out a punch list for a property manager.You look at the problem. Figure it out. Get it done.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with 10+ years of hands-on experience in commercial maintenance construction remodeling carpentry or the skilled trades.More experience is welcome.You should be someone who can:Work independentlyHandle multiple tradesTroubleshoot without needing constant directionRead a job and understand what needs to be doneWork clean and safely in occupied commercial spacesCommunicate professionally with property managers and customersTake pride in your workmanshipShow up on time and follow throughHave a valid driver's licenseHave your everyday hand toolsYou don't need to know everything.You do need to know how to figure things out.We Take Care of the Office WorkThis is a field position.You work the jobs.
