Fira Health is building an AI-native physical care platform, starting with home health. We’re tackling one of the biggest problems in US healthcare: administrative waste and care access. By automating operational complexity with AI, we’re creating a fundamentally different cost structure that allows us to serve patients who are often left untreated today. We’re backed by an exceptional team combining AI talent from companies like Character AI, Scale, Palantir, Citadel, and Jane Street with experienced healthcare operators. Fira is already operating with significantly stronger gross margins than traditional providers and is scaling rapidly. We’re now hiring one of our first dedicated Senior Technical Recruiters to help build the engineering organisation from the ground up. The role You’ll own end-to-end recruiting for highly technical roles across: AI/ML Infrastructure Backend engineering Full-stack engineering Data Engineering Engineering leadership As Fira expands into new states and our technical surface area grows, building a high-calibre engineering team is one of our top priorities. You’ll partner directly with engineering leadership, build repeatable hiring systems, and create a consistent outbound engine that helps us attract exceptional technical talent. What you’ll do Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and product roles, from intake and sourcing through offer and close Build a sustainable outbound sourcing engine for high-calibre technical candidates Partner with engineering leaders to define roles, calibrate talent, and design interview loops Maintain a consistently high hiring bar as the company scales Improve candidate experience across every stage of the process Build the foundations of the recruiting function, including clean data and reporting in Ashby Identify bottlenecks and improve recruiting efficiency over time Who you are Have experience recruiting for highly technical engineering roles Are comfortable sourcing and closing passive candidates Enjoy partnering directly with deeply technical teams Can run searches end-to-end with urgency and precision Take pride in building repeatable hiring systems, not just filling roles Are comfortable carrying ambitious hiring targets in a fast-moving environment Compensation This is a hybrid role in San Francisco with very strong compensation $180k - $200k+ base salary, plus equity and bonus upside.
