Title: Post Doctoral Associate Job Description: The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for the preparation, characterization, and evaluation of inorganic catalysts. Responsibilities Prepare, characterize, and evaluate inorganic catalysts. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. degree in chemistry or chemical engineering Experience in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials and catalysts Experience in the use of gas chromatography, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, surface area measurements, and other analytical techniques Experience with chemisorption and temperature‑programmed experiments (TPD, TPO, TPR) The postdoctoral associate must be a U.S. citizen (including naturalized) Must be able to write scientific reports Must be able to prepare Power Point presentations and give oral presentations Must be responsible with confidential research data and proprietary information governed by U.S. Export Control laws Conditions of Employment To promote the highest levels of health and well‑being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco‑free.
