Additionally, the Assessment Coordinator will assess progress towards accomplishing strategic plan goals, improving assessment efforts in General Education and academic majors, training faculty and staff on assessment and evaluation methods, assessing the effectiveness of student retention and engagement initiatives, communicating assessment results, providing support and recommendations for using assessment results for institutional improvement. Additionally, the position will assist with the assessment and evaluation needs of the campus to include:**Authority and Accountability**This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Planning and Assessment. There are no direct report or budgetary responsibilities associated with this position. **Required/Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience or Master's degree and 1-3 years of experience* Detail Oriented* Customer Service focused* Think Analytically* Understand how to analyze data, successfully manage multiple project at one time* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills* This position requires exceptional organizational and planning skills* Ability to prioritize and problem solve and follow through on projects.* The candidate must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, is required.* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide support for projects in the areas of: program assessment, accountability, institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, and resource allocation.* Must have expertise in basic statistics, database/spreadsheet management, and data analysis (Using SPSS or Excel). **Preferred Qualifications*** Degree in behavioral or social science, data sciences, higher education administration, or assessment preferred.* Experience with SPSS preferred.**Additional Job Information:**The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.Priority will be given to applicants who apply by October 10, 2026.
