Special Events Manager

Seeking a detail-oriented and community-driven Special Events Manager, this full-time remote position will manage the planning, coordination, and execution of large events such as Escapade, overseeing all operational aspects including site selection, budgeting, and logistics. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of all Escapade activities, ensuring smooth operations and a high-quality attendee experience Research and negotiate contracts for event venues and manage relationships with vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and collaborating with leadership on pricing structures Required Qualifications Proven experience in event coordination and logistics management, including budgeting and vendor relations Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Technologically proficient with common office software and project management tools
