Supporting the movement of goods between international borders, the full-time remote Import Specialist will process customer data, serve as a liaison for customer service, and handle customs entries for clearance into the United States. Key responsibilities Serve as the customer service liaison, resolving issues related to billing and shipment tracking Process Customs and Participating Government Agency entries for the clearance of goods Coordinate shipping details with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with U.S. regulatory agencies Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous experience in customs brokerage Ability to complete required courses within twelve months, including IATA Dangerous Goods and CFR Export Regulation Familiarity with government regulations and carrier requirements Experience in managing customer relationships and resolving conflicts
