The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).Required QualificationsTS/SCI with agency appropriate polyBachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE.Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.Required Technical SkillsStrong Linux experienceExperience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or CDesired Technical SkillsExperience deploying and maintaining nginxFamiliarity with Docker and RedHat SatelliteFamiliarity with cloud computing environments like AWSExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and GrafanaExperience with SELinux and FIPSThe Benefits PackageWyetech believes in generously supporting employees as they prepare for retirement.
