Surgical Technologist Full Time

Full Time Surgical Technologist – Surgery Center of Columbia Surgery Center of Columbia, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and a service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in providing nursing care of the surgical patient in the operating room (OR) suite. Ideal candidates will focus on excellent customer service, be able to multi-task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and work effectively as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings may be required. Competitive salary and benefits are offered for the right candidate. Qualifications High School graduate or completion of a GED course. Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist course. Basic knowledge of surgical techniques. Experience in assisting with surgical patient care. General familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
