Registered Nurse - PACU

$1821.31/week - Job Summary: Seeking a qualified RN to provide specialized care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role involves monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and ensuring their safe transition to subsequent care stages. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions continuously post-surgery to identify any complications. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by attending physicians. Document patient data and care activities accurately in EPIC and other systems. Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers to coordinate patient care. Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to hospital protocols. Float between Pre-Op, PACU, and Endoscopy recovery areas as needed. Qualifications: Hold a valid California RN license verified via Nursys within the last 2 weeks. Possess CPR/AHA or ARC certifications with current expiration dates. Documented minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in PACU or post-anesthesia care. Be willing to participate in weekend call shifts with minimal frequency. Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health records. Meet travel compliance requirements under Tier 3.
