Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within this organization.

Location: Edinburgh, IN

Pay Range: Up to $30/hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Second shift, 1pm – 9:30pm, with occasional weekend work

What's the Job?

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (up to 480v), control systems, and pneumatic issues effectively.
Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments to machinery or structural components as needed.
Assist with residential painting projects around the facility to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring critical spare parts are on hand and organized effectively.

What's Needed?

Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong electrical knowledge including 480v and electrical controls.
Experience with diaphragm and centrifugal pumps.
Strong plumbing knowledge of PVC, CPVC, and steel.
Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accurately.
