Estimator - Commercial Construction

One of the Mountain West's leading gneral contractors is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Jackson Wyoming team. This role will focus on delivering accurate, competitive bids across a variety of commercial projects, including healthcare and other complex builds.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from conceptual design through final bid
  
  
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare quantity takeoffs
  
  
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  
  
• Develop scope sheets and level bid comparisons
  
  
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during preconstruction
  
  
• Identify value engineering opportunities
  
  
• Support proposal development and client presentations as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
  
  
• Experience with healthcare or technically complex projects preferred
  
  
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local subcontractor market
  
  
• Ability to interpret plans, specs, and contract documents
  
  
• Proficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools
  
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
