Job Title: Install Technician Job Description

As an Install Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation and support of Yarbrough Watlow Heating Solutions. Your work will involve installing heat trace material on process lines such as vacuum pipes, exhaust, and gas lines connected to semiconductor equipment. This position requires running wire, troubleshooting basic electrical issues, handling equipment during the installation process, and installing insulation.

Responsibilities

• Install wrapping of heat trace material on process lines like vacuum pipes, exhaust, and gas lines.
• Conduct tool installation for semiconductor equipment.
• Run wires and troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Handle equipment during the installation process.
• Install insulation using silicone-based flexible tape, acting as a heater on pipes.
• Inspect and apply additional tape over trace material to insulate and wire up pipes.
• Ensure the wrap prevents condensation and buildup on lines.
• Perform troubleshooting and start-up of installed products.
• Work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of technical-related experience or mechanical equipment assembly.
• Electrical aptitude with experience in installation or troubleshooting of electrical components.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, and construction labor.
• Hands-on skills with tools and equipment.
• Maintenance and HVAC troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

This role will initially be located at Intel for six months before transitioning to TSMC. You will spend 30% of your time in the fab down and 70% in the sub fab. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7 am, with 8 to 10-hour days and occasional weekend work as needed. You will work in teams of 2-3 people and anticipate staying on contract for 6-9 months before the possibility of converting to a full-time role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
