Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Adhere to unit dress code requirements, including navy scrubs, and comply with weekend, holiday, and float scheduling per department guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona (verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions)
• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience in a Surgical PCU environment
