New2U Free Thrift Store Work Study

Eligibility Only available to Union College students who qualify for Work‑Study. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee New2U Free Thrift Store space in Webster Hall, including hosting open shopping hours and managing stock of clothing and items. Facilitate clothing drives to collect items from students, including advertising and managing donations. Host free clothing pop‑up events on campus in high‑traffic locations and at relevant events. Collaborate with student organizations, departments, and community partners on events and programs. Develop new avenues to promote and support sustainable clothing practices among Union students and the community. Qualifications Union College student eligible for Work‑Study. Outgoing, personable, and passionate about supporting the community. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to troubleshoot challenges using experience from previous roles. General proficiency in Google Workspace. Location and Compensation Location: Webster Hall (Thrift Store), Schenectady, NY.
