Construction Senior Project Manager

Job Summary Senior Project Manager responsible for leading cross‑functional teams to manage multiple construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area, serving enterprise, consumer goods, and services clients. Position is remote with mandatory travel throughout the region and requires residency in the Austin or San Antonio, TX area. Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end project management from initiation through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout. Oversee design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet established goals. Track project financials, maintain milestone schedules, provide regular status updates, and support continuous process improvement initiatives. Prepare accurate project documentation (project charter, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, status reports, punch lists, special reports) in pre‑established formats and ensure timely completion. Develop risk management plans and lead project teams through work authorization processes to prevent impacts or incidents in critical environments or equipment. Participate in, or lead, client decision‑making by providing data, formal recommendations, and risk outlines for client approval. Manage vendors to ensure full compliance with project policies and close out projects within 90 days after completion. Provide weekly project activity updates to the Team Lead on schedule, risks, budget status, and anticipated cash flow, utilizing JLL technology. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field. 10–15 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and construction. Proven experience in project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web‑based applications. Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space‑planning concepts, and construction costs and schedules. Preferred Qualifications Architecture, engineering, or project management certification. LEED Certification. PMP Certification. Travel Requirements Up to 60% travel throughout the designated portfolio. Compensation Estimated range: $85,600.00 – $135,100.00 USD per year (actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations). Location Remote – Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX. Must reside in the designated area.
