Senior Construction Project Manager (Commercial/Big Box Retail/Ground Up)

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our commercial general contracting team! You will support the significant growth and expansion of our Austin and out-of-town operations by overseeing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and full project implementation. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Qualifications 7+ previous years experience in tenet improvement (TI), big box retail and/or ground-up construction management Project Management: 7+ years (Preferred) Commercial Construction: 7+ years (Preferred) Demonstrate a level of advanced knowledge in a major trade (such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or drywall) Strong negotiation, organization and communication skills Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment Solution oriented, problem solver with a team-oriented attitude Able to manage multiple, competing priorities in a deadline driven environment Must live in the Austin, TX area; project travel is periodically required Compensation & Benefits Full-time Salary position commensurate with experience Health, Dental, & Vision insurance 401K with matching PTO and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Merritt Contracting INC
