Director of Operations

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave Qualifications 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, passenger transportation, trucking, or fleet operations Proven success leading multi-site operations and managing large frontline workforces Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, fleet operations, driver management, and transportation compliance Experience managing operational budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and build high-performing teams Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree preferred Primary Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for multi-site transportation operations Lead, coach, and develop operations managers, dispatch teams, maintenance leaders, and frontline personnel Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies Oversee fleet utilization, dispatch, scheduling, route optimization, and service delivery to maximize operational efficiency Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial performance, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics Partner closely with Safety, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to achieve operational objectives Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices across multiple locations Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional customer service and employee engagement Support budgeting, workforce planning, and strategic growth initiatives Why choose Addison Group Competitive Compensation: We negotiate competitive salaries based on current market data and industry benchmarks.
