Operations Manager

The Operations Manager provides hands-on leadership and day-to-day oversight of Hotard Shuttle’s contract operations, ensuring safety, service excellence, and operational standards are consistently achieved. This role leads daily lot operations, driver performance, staffing, scheduling, and resource coordination while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance. This highly visible leadership position works closely with the Director of Operations to strengthen service delivery, develop frontline leaders, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day contract operations to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality transportation services Provide hands-on leadership to drivers, dispatch, supervisors, and frontline teams Partner with leadership to ensure staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning align with operational needs Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies Drive a strong culture of accountability, performance, and service excellence Support onboarding, training, coaching, and development for drivers and frontline leaders Monitor performance, attendance, and labor utilization to ensure operational efficiency Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Maintenance to support smooth, compliant operations Serve as a key point of contact for client communication and service-related matters Champion continuous improvement, operational consistency, and employee engagement Lead by example in professionalism, integrity, and safety Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a similar role Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong organizational and communication skills Strong ability to multitask Comfort working with multiple groups within business Preferred Qualification Class B Driver’s License with a passenger endorsement and air brakes certification highly preferred but not required PAY & BENEFITS Weekly Pay Medical Insurance: $28.62/pay period for employee-only coverage Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Company-Paid Life Insurance ($25,000 policy) 6 Paid Holidays 401(k) with 4% Dollar-for-Dollar Match (Vested Immediately) About Hotard Shuttle: We have been in business for over 90 years.
