This role is a hybrid position This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Boston, MA is preferred. We are also open to candidates based near our Santa Barbara, CA or New York City, NY offices.

The Role

Sonos is hiring a Vice President, Enterprise Acceleration (Infrastructure Technology) to lead the enterprise technology organization at a pivotal moment. IT at Sonos sits in the company's Customer organization, alongside DTC, Customer Experience, and Partnerships, and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

We are looking for a leader who will reshape how enterprise technology is built and operated, moving manual processes to AI-assisted and automated workflows, hardening our security posture for a public company, and scaling impact through automation. This leader will own the systems that run commerce, customer service, supply chain, finance, and revenue, as well as the data and infrastructure beneath them.

What You'll Do

• Lead a global organization of roughly 150 people across AI, applications, data, infrastructure, security, and architecture.
• Set and execute the enterprise technology strategy in direct partnership with the COO and senior leadership team, including the CFO, CRO, CMO, CPO, and Software leadership.
• Own enterprise applications, including ERP/SAP, revenue systems, supply chain and finance systems, DTC e-commerce, marketing technology engineering, and the global contact center platform.
• Operationalize AI across the enterprise by moving IT from exploration to disciplined execution, standing up cross-functional transformation pods, and setting function-specific enablement targets.
• Build the AI enablement and data foundation, including a consistent agent registry, authentication layer, and governance model in partnership with the Software organization, with the goal of enabling through guardrails, not gates.
• Lead data strategy, platforms, and engineering across customer, finance, and product data on a modern Snowflake-based platform.
• Continually modernize Sonos' security posture in an evolving AI world, driving the cyber program toward NIST maturity, owning SOX controls, and ensuring SEC material-incident disclosure readiness.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and operations, including global support desk, infrastructure and site engineering, collaboration tools, and factory/manufacturing engineering technology.
• Own the IT investment portfolio and operating plan; make disciplined build, buy, and partner decisions; and manage major vendor, outsourcing, and BPO relationships.
• Run closer to the customer by measuring IT impact through business outcomes such as DTC conversion, customer service cost, CSAT, revenue system reliability, and operational performance.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise technology leadership, including senior ownership of enterprise applications, data, infrastructure, and security at scale.
• Experience leading and developing global, distributed technology teams and senior leaders across multiple technology disciplines.
• Proven record operationalizing AI, automation, and technology modernization to improve productivity and measurable business outcomes.
• Cybersecurity and risk fluency, including experience with board or audit committee reporting, SOX controls, SEC-related obligations, and public-company governance expectations.
• Strong command of the modern enterprise technology stack, including ERP, CRM/revenue systems, e-commerce, MarTech, contact center platforms, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience owning or partnering closely with systems that power commerce, customer care, revenue, supply chain, finance, and go-to-market operations.
• Experience managing significant vendor, outsourcing, and BPO relationships.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology topics into clear business decisions.
• Operator's instinct: direct, decisive, comfortable with ambiguity, and biased toward measurable impact over process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a consumer, commerce, or product-led business where technology directly connects to revenue and customer experience.
• DTC, retail, and/or channel exposure.
• Experience with ERP/SAP, Salesforce or similar CRM/e-commerce platforms, marketing technology, contact center platforms, and Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Experience building developer experience, AI enablement, governance, and automation capabilities across an enterprise.
• Experience leading cybersecurity modernization in a public-company environment.
• Experience partnering directly with C-suite leaders across Finance, Revenue, Marketing, Product, Software, Operations, and Customer Experience.
• Experience leading through organizational transformation, operating model change, or significant enterprise technology modernization.

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is:

$262,000 and $326,900

The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate's geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market. Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of the range.
