Desktop Support Technician

Kforce has a client in need of a Desktop Support Technician in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities:

Provide frontline technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, applications, and peripheral devices
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, VPN, and remote-access issues
Set up, configure, and support operating systems, applications, and end-user equipment
Track and manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing platform
Escalate advanced technical issues to appropriate support teams when necessary
Maintain clear documentation of solutions, procedures, and system updates
Assist users with basic system and application guidance
Support IT asset tracking and equipment lifecycle activities
Follow established IT service processes while ensuring timely, customer-focused support
1-3 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or technical support
Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS environments, Microsoft Office, and common desktop hardware
Working knowledge of ServiceNow or a similar IT ticketing system
Familiarity with networking fundamentals, VPN connectivity, and remote-support tools
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users
Ability to document technical processes, follow established workflows, and independently manage multiple priorities
