Salary Range $21.50 - $42.78 Hourly Position Type Part-Time Job Shift Varies (+Weekends)

Description

• Competently work all stations in the Wabasha Creek kitchen.
• Open and/or close the kitchen.
• Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the kitchen area.
• Maintain portion control in all applicable areas.
• Take direction from the Wabasha Creek Manager, Supervisor and Lead Cook
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in line cooking at a full-service restaurant preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

• Culinary skills, including frying, sauting, broiling, basting, baking, poaching and roasting.
• High level of skill at all cooking stations.
• Knowledge and utilization of proper sanitation practices.
• Strong knife skills.
• Highly organized and time-efficient.
• Self-motivated.
• Able to follow and appropriately modify recipes.
• Able to produce consistent food products.
• Able to work all stations and shifts as needed.
• Able to handle working alone.
• Able to handle working in a fast-paced environment under stressful conditions.

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

Physical Demands
