Overview

As an International Mobility Specialist, you will help deliver seamless cross-border experience for employees while supporting the Bank’s international assignment and business traveler frameworks. You will interpret mobility policies, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate practical, compliant solutions across the Americas.

You will serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for cross-border HR matters across the United States and the wider Americas region. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Business Advisors, Recruiters, and external service providers, you will help stakeholders navigate complex mobility requirements.

Reporting to the US International Mobility Manager, you will support long- and short-term assignments, permanent transfers, international new hires, and international business travelers.

What You’ll Do

• Advise HR colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders on Deutsche Bank’s relocation framework and business traveler policies, translating requirements into clear, practical guidance
• Develop practical solutions that mitigate immigration, tax, payroll, social security, and employment-related risks while supporting a positive employee experience
• Support the Annual Compensation processes relating to DBs Globally Mobile Population, partnering with HR stakeholders
• Partner with DB’s Global Tax Vendor to manage International Business Traveller Population
• Continuously Improve Processes and Guidelines to deliver greater value to Stakeholders

Skills You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, together with relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: international mobility, international HR, payroll, or tax
• Experience working in a multinational environment and navigating complex, matrixed organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, provide practical guidance, and escalate appropriately
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or comparable platforms, to support research, analysis, communication, or process efficiency

Expectations

Employees hired in this role are expected to work from the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York is $85,000 to $129,500. Actual salary will depend on factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. The posted range does not include incentive compensation or other forms of remuneration.
