Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, histories, and objectives.

• Develop individualized therapy strategies utilizing a variety of evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, groups, families, and couples, ensuring alignment with each client's unique therapeutic goals.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in workshops to stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your role is vital in fostering resilience and recovery by implementing personalized treatment interventions that empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of three years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical responsibilities in counseling practice.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively connect and build rapport with a broad array of clients.

• Documented ability to collaborate effectively as part of a healthcare team.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorder treatment are highly preferred.

• Experience working in telehealth environments or virtual counseling settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salaried position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Employees will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, vision, and health insurance, as well as malpractice insurance.
