Job Title
Are you a compassionate and dedicated person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others? Join our home care agency as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Caregiver and help us provide exceptional care to those who need it most. In this role, you will support clients with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and much more, promoting their independence and dignity.
Main Responsibilities
- Help clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Remind clients to take medications and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
- Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain an organized environment.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to the supervisor or family members.
- Follow personalized care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of the client.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA or HHA certification preferred, but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with clients.
- Empathy, patience, and adaptability in caregiving situations.
- Previous caregiver experience is a plus, but not essential.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform related caregiving tasks.
