Join an award winning Restaurant Group based in Fishtown Philadelphia, SURAYA, PIZZERIA BEDDIA, CONDESA, EL TECHO, R&D Cocktail Bar, KALAYA, PICNICAn ideal candidate
- Understands the importance of maintaining a positive and healthy kitchen culture
- Communicates directly, effectively, constantly with all members of the team including leadership and ownership
- Demonstrated command of menu development, seasonal sourcing, with the ability to maintain consistency across service
- Proven ownership of kitchen financials, including food cost, labor cost, and budget targets,
- Experience managing vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory controls
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, including hiring, training, scheduling, and developing cooks
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards, with the ability to enforce compliance in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute high-quality food under volume pressure while upholding the highest standards
- Effective communication and coordination with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth, cohesive service
- Adaptability and problem-solving under pressure, with a calm, professional presence in a demanding kitchen
