Defined Hospitality is looking for a Executive Chef

An ideal candidate

• Understands the importance of maintaining a positive and healthy kitchen culture
• Communicates directly, effectively, constantly with all members of the team including leadership and ownership
• Demonstrated command of menu development, seasonal sourcing, with the ability to maintain consistency across service
• Proven ownership of kitchen financials, including food cost, labor cost, and budget targets,
• Experience managing vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory controls
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, including hiring, training, scheduling, and developing cooks
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards, with the ability to enforce compliance in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to execute high-quality food under volume pressure while upholding the highest standards
• Effective communication and coordination with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth, cohesive service
• Adaptability and problem-solving under pressure, with a calm, professional presence in a demanding kitchen
