Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Instrument Technician with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing. This position is focused on maintaining the standards of sterile instrumentation and providing support within the hospital environment.

Schedule

This role is for night shifts, specifically from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Properly clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments.
• Adhere to safety and protocol standards in the use of equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the availability of sterile instruments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing.
• Preferred certifications: CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician), CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician), or CASSPT (Certified Advanced Sterilization Specialist).

Holiday Expectations

The Instrument Technician must be available to work on 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
