Sterile Processing Technician, Sterile Processing (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician in Atlanta, Georgia.

Location: Atlanta, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 8-hour Night Shift, Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description: The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for sterilizing, assembling, and disassembling surgical instruments and supporting the infection control efforts of the facility. The candidate will work closely with surgical staff to ensure that the instruments are ready for use in surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain instruments ensuring they are functioning correctly.
• Assist in the training of new staff in sterile processing protocols.
• Follow protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.

Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing is required.

Certifications/Licensure: Preferred certifications include CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT.
