Patient Services Coordinator

Ultimate Staffing is honored to support a world-class medical treatment center in San Diego to find a professional Patient Services Coordinator to join their renowned organization. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will get to work alongside renowned medical professionals such as, Oncologists, Registered Nurses, and Radiation Therapists. The ideal candidate must have an easygoing personality with a professional can-do attitude. The office possess a work-hard, play-hard mentality and is a great place to work. Duties and Responsibilities:  Greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner Communicate effectively and professionally with patients to gather accurate patient registration Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to the patient, a proactive approach to provide solutions and routes issues for expedited solutions Manages patient interaction from start to finish to include ID verification and insurance information on every patient to ensure necessary paperwork and forms are signed and witnessed Verifying insurance benefits and coverage, authorization, pre-determination, policy exclusions or limitations of coverage Collecting payment from patient Desired Skills/Experience: Prior Radiation Oncology experience preferred, or previous experience as a Patient Service Representative in a medical setting The right candidate can make $20-$21 an hour depending on experience.
