Project Manager - Electrical Utilities

As Project Manager in the Project Management Office, you will lead and manage projects that involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. Your role will require strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as effective project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.You’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. You’ll allocate and coordinate resources, including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials, to keep the project on track.You’ll provide technical guidance and expertise to our engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key, as you’ll need to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns. Additionally, you’ll monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure we stay within financial targets.This is a hybrid role in the San Antonio areaQualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent technical degreePrevious experience in electrical engineering, project management, or a related roleExperience with electrical utilities5 years experience or greater Must have valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle and willingness to travel 10-15% for site visit requirements PMP preferredCurious and active listener: You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to think outside the box. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available.
