Title DuraCraft Maintenance Manager Multisite Position DuraCraft Solutions and DuraCraft Cabinets Reports to General Manager Position Summary Utilize leadership abilities to ensure smooth production within the specified area of the facility. Manage the Maintenance Department and provide technical support by training and troubleshooting issues that arise. Duties / Responsibilities Organize and coordinate personnel, functions and activities of all team members in the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fabrication shop, mobile equipment fleet vehicles (forklifts and minor repairs on DOT trucks), building and grounds maintenance, milling equipment and truss presses. Lead by communication and adherence of company policies and rules. Be responsible for the productivity of the Maintenance team. Initiate Continuous Improvement programs. Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing personnel. Ensure that all department safety practices are followed and maintain good team member relations. Have fluent knowledge of Electronics, PLCs and Drives. Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints and schematics for manufacturing and auxiliary equipment. Provide guidance and share knowledge on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining and fabrication. Assign and supervise daily work schedules of department personnel. Create and manage PM, work order system, spare part inventory program and track results. Remain current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and update them as required. Lead and direct around‑the‑clock activities of subordinates, clarifying and coordinating tasks and providing the individual coaching and support needed to keep team members committed to achievement of defined goals. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping practices in all areas under supervision, including paved areas of the yard. Manage a vendor base to ensure quality repair and maintenance materials availability while minimizing costs and maintaining the highest service levels to the plant. Includes operating supplies, repair and maintenance support and services. Manage storeroom supplies related to building and equipment maintenance/upkeep. Manage procurement activity of repair and maintenance goods and services via requisitions. Perform any other function as deemed necessary by Management. Keep day to day functions fluid while upholding ISO 14001 environmental standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2-4 years’ prior experience in a management‑level role. Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance preferred. Strong communication, analytical and reasoning skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities.
