Job Description - Diesel Technician (260932) Job Number 260932 - Full-time Wednesday-Friday and every other weekend 3:00 P.M. - 1:30 A.M. Job overview Further develop your maintenance skills as a Diesel Technician in Baltimore, MD. Handle annual inspections. Complete troubleshooting and component replacements. Responsibilities Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers. Complete express services like tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical repairs. Communicate status updates to internal customers. Skills and qualifications Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or a minimum of one year of diesel technician experience. Strong attention to detail. Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire. Pay and benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance. Starting wages are $25.00 - $31.20 per hour based on experience. Non‑exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time worked between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked. Non‑exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours receive a $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9 p.m. Friday – 5 a.m. Monday). Company-paid training.
