EMS Estimator - ServiceMaster Advanced Restoration

divh2Estimator/h2pThe Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand commercial and insurance restoration industry. Having a basic construction background which includes basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by wind, water, fire, smoke and other property damage causes will assist in being successful in this position. Xactimate experience is an essential requirement of this job. If you do not have experience with this software, you will not be considered for this position. Additionally, we require candidates to demonstrate knowledge of the software as a part of the candidate screening process./ppDuties Responsibilities/pulliInspect and scope jobs onsite-and work with Project Manager/ Crew Chief/ Lead Tech on scope of job/liliDocument loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software/liliWrites mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software/liliCommunicates conversations and key information on the job using the notes feature in required software/liliEstimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer/liliCommunicates with project manager/lead tech to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)/liliRecord of Drying using mobile software/liliDetermine labor and equipment costs/liliPrepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing/liliCommunicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison/liliManage all estimate documents and assess project risks/liliReview quotes and estimates with the construction project team/liliAddresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner/li/ulpPhysical Demands and Working Conditions/pulliMove up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects./liliMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
