Head of Engineering

What you’ll do:

• Lead and work collaboratively with a team of product managers, product designers and other engineers to execute the features and improvements
• Provide strong technical leadership, raise the technical bar, maintain a data and results-driven culture, and nurture a team culture of high collaboration and trust.
• Participate actively in detailed design, code reviews, and bug/issue investigations with the feature teams and support well-informed decisions toward business and engineering goals.
• Come up with creative solutions to develop innovative interaction models to create compelling user experiences.
• Execute in an agile model where you do up-front sprint planning, participate in scrums, and maintain a good glide path toward completion.
• Own accurate costing for your engineering activities and execute with high accountability to schedule and quality.
• Contribute to the development of the test infrastructure for our features.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in React, Next.js, PostgreSQL and Typescript
• 1-2+ years of experience with software engineering or related experience
• Experience with version control systems and package managers (e.g., Git, Yarn)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Supabase, Google Authentication, Vercel, Insomnia, Docker, and GitHub Actions
• Experience using Google Workspace for communication and file maintenance.
• Proficiency in Slack for team communication and collaboration.
