Job Description
Established law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support attorneys on a variety of business and corporate matters. This position offers significant independence and responsibility in a fast-paced professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and business transactions.
- Manage assigned client files and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Prepare and maintain corporate records, filings, and transaction documents.
- Assist with due diligence and document organization for business transactions.
- Coordinate and delegate work as appropriate while maintaining high-quality client service.
- Maintain accurate electronic files and handle confidential information professionally.
- Meet established billable-hour expectations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in corporate/entity matters, business transactions, and corporate governance.
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- NALA or NFPA certification required.
- Strong organizational, proofreading, and file-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic document-management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client service.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
Work arrangement: Hybrid.
