Energy5 is a turnkey provider of commercial electrification and decarbonization infrastructure. We design, build, and manage the full project lifecycle for our clients, including site design, engineering, rebate and grant management, permitting, installation, inspection, activation, and ongoing maintenance. This gives Energy5 true coast-to-coast capability, allowing us to deliver anything from a single charger at a small business to full-scale, multi-hundred-port deployments.

About the Role

The Lead Generation & Sales Operations Manager is responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving the commercial infrastructure that supports Energy5’s national sales organization. This role sits at the intersection of lead generation, call center management, Salesforce, outbound campaign execution, sales reporting, and Account Manager enablement, with a direct focus on creating qualified sales opportunities and improving sales productivity. 

Key Responsibilities

The position owns the operational process that moves priority markets from strategy into execution. This includes developing and maintaining high-quality lead data, activating rebate and market-driven campaigns, coordinating offshore call center and SDR resources, supporting Account Managers with targeted prospecting, and ensuring Salesforce accurately reflects lead ownership, outreach activity, qualification, and opportunity progression. The Lead Generation & Sales Operations Manager will work closely with Sales leadership, Account Managers, Marketing, Rebate Strategy, Partnerships, Salesforce administration, and external lead-generation resources to ensure Energy5 is targeting the right businesses, reaching the right decision-makers, and measuring what is actually converting into revenue. This is a hands-on commercial operations role. Success requires someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution, whether that means reviewing lead quality, identifying a new target market, coaching call center performance, improving Salesforce workflows, analyzing conversion data, or helping an Account Manager develop a strategic prospect list. The overall objective is simple: create a scalable, measurable, and continuously improving lead-generation engine that gives the Energy5 sales team more qualified opportunities and better visibility into what is working. 

- Own Lead Generation Strategy and Execution 
- Build, clean, segment, and deploy prospect data across priority markets, rebate programs, utilities, and verticals to consistently create qualified sales opportunities. 
- Manage Call Center and SDR Performance 
- Direct offshore SDR and call center teams on market focus, lead allocation, scripting, outreach quality, productivity, and conversion performance. 
- Own Salesforce Sales Operations 
- Ensure Salesforce accurately reflects lead ownership, activity, qualification, campaign performance, and opportunity progression, while continuously improving workflows and data quality. 
- Drive Account Manager Enablement 
- Support Account Managers with targeted prospecting, strategic account research, customized outreach lists, and actionable market intelligence to accelerate pipeline creation. 
- Measure and Improve Commercial Performance 
- Track lead quality, outreach, show rates, SQCs, source effectiveness, and conversion by market and channel, then use the data to improve campaigns, systems, and overall sales productivity. 
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- 2+ years of experience in lead generation, sales operations, or business development operations supporting a B2B sales organization. 
- Demonstrated experience with lead sourcing and capture platforms, including the ability to identify companies, decision-makers, verified contact information, and build targeted prospect lists. Experience with tools such as Snov.io or comparable prospecting/data platforms is required. 
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including lead management, ownership, list management, reporting, data hygiene, and sales workflow support. 
- Experience managing or coordinating SDR, BDR, call center, or outsourced lead-generation resources, with accountability for meeting quality and qualified opportunity creation. 
- Strong analytical and operational skills, with the ability to measure lead quality, outreach volume, conversion, show rates, SQCs, source effectiveness, and campaign performance and turn the data into action. 
- Ability to manage large prospect datasets, including segmentation, enrichment, validation, deduplication, recycling, and distribution across sales resources. 
- Strong cross-functional communication and project-management skills, with the ability to work directly with Account Managers, Sales leadership, Marketing, Partnerships, and CRM/IT teams.
