Patent Appellate Attorney

Patent Appeals & IP - Supreme Court & Appellate Associate
Our client is a major Am law 100 firm, seeking an experienced Patent and IP Appellate Litigation attorney for high tech and life science industries. This position is open in all nationwide offices of the firm. The salary range for this position is between $365,000 and $420,000.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in patent and intellectual property appeals relating to high tech and/or life science cases.
- Experience drafting appellate briefs and substantive motions in patent or IP matters.
- Experience conducting legal research and analysis on complex patent-law and IP issues.
- A state bar admission required; federal circuit admission is preferred.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; team oriented.
- Experience with life-sciences patent matters (Hatch-Waxman, BPCIA, or direct-competitor cases) preferred but not required.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
