Applicants interested in this position must, electronically, complete a current online EdJoin application. Responsibilities for Lead include reporting 45 minutes prior to gate opening for each gate, wearing assigned uniform/vest, setting up the Evolve System at their assigned gate, making sure Event Staff team is at the location 15 minutes prior to gate opening, ensuring that 2 tables are at each gate location for the Event Specialist, having an admin radio to communicate with Officer and Admin team on site, monitoring iPad or screen as spectators enter the stadium and directing them to the search area as needed, keeping traffic moving efficiently by encouraging people to walk normal, addressing any issues or challenges with spectators as needed, and after the game is over, closing down all equipment and putting away.

The Evolve Detection System will be used at all varsity level football games for the 2025-26 season. If there is a JV/VAR game, back-to-back, on the same night, then the Evolve System will be used for entry into the JV game and varsity game. We will have 2 levels of staff at the gate operating the Evolve System including 1 officer at each gate along with appropriate admin support. The 2 levels of Event Staff that will be operating the Evolve System will be a Lead and Entry Specialist. We will have 1 Lead and 2 Event Specialist at each gate. In addition, we will have 1 Officer at each gate to support the Event Staff. Administration will also be required to support this team at the gates. Equipment needed at each gate includes the Evolve System, extension cords, iPads or monitors, and 2 tables.
