RN - PACU

Registered Nurse (RN)

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) with evening shift availability. The role requires experience with the EPIC system and entails working four 10-hour shifts per week. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and prior experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at time of hire: Required
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during Orientation: Required
• Critical care experience: Preferred
• Completion of Critical Care Course within 1 year of hire for Critical Care Units: Required
• Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification: Required for Perinatal, Labor & Delivery, and NICU departments
• Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications: Required for Labor & Delivery department
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire: Required for PACU/SDS and Emergency Departments
• IV Sedation competency within 6 months of hire: Required for specific departments
