CNC Machinist III

The CNC Machinist III is a senior technical expert, troubleshooter, advanced, highly skilled manufacturing professional responsible for complex setups, precision operations, and mentoring Level I and Level II machinists, working autonomously and leads projects. Essential Job Duties: Ability to coach, mentor, and train Machinist Level I and Level II personnel on shop floor best practices. Edits/offsets programs at the machines, to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, tooling, or programming issues in real time. Must Independently execute tooling selection, work holding solutions, fixtures, and offsets for multi-axis mills and lathes. Deep familiarity with GD&T, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM software, and advanced metrology. Assist in first piece buyoff, inspecting parts using advanced measuring tools and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications. Schedule: M-F, 7AM-3:30PM -Central Time. Ability to work after hours during the week and weekends, as the workload requires. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 3–5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, warehouse experience. Strong interpretation of drawings, blueprints and GD&T. Must be a U.S citizen. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Warehouse environment, with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems.
