Schedule: 7am-3pm Monday to Friday

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and building systems. This role focuses on maximizing uptime and safety through mechanical and foundational electrical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Support: Perform routine PMs; troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Electrical & Automation: Perform electrical troubleshooting within qualification limits; assist with installations and upgrades.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate work orders and records using QT9 or designated systems; track spare parts.
• Facilities: Handle general building maintenance (lighting, basic plumbing, HVAC support, minor carpentry) and conduct safety inspections.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Literacy: Ability to read/interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical blueprints.
• Power & Automation (Preferred): Familiarity with up to 480V , 3-phase systems , PLCs , and VFDs (for electrically qualified track).
• Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional communication, time management, and ability to work independently.
• Must have a valid drivers license as local travel will be required from time to time

Education & Experience

• Experience: 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working with tools.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds .
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around moving machinery.
