Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week travel assignment in Reedley, California. Start date 08/31/2026. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range $2,640–$2,657 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Setting: rural, critical access care setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns in the L&D area, following established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with labor and delivery, and manage postpartum care
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, neonatal, and ancillary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure a safe, healing environment
- Develop and implement a patient care plan, evaluate progress, and adjust as needed; document care and outcomes
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and provide health information to support continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and supervise nursing staff across levels; maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California) or equivalent required
- BSN preferred
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in labor and delivery or a related acute care setting
- CPR/BLS required; Basic Life Support certification from an approved vendor per policy
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Start date 08/31/2026 and 13-week travel assignment
- Ability to work night shifts and on-site, travel-ready status

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certifications
- RN licensure in state of practice (CA)
- CPR/BLS
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- EPIC EMR experience
