About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Civil Construction with a strong background in residential subdivision and land development. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing strategic leadership for all civil construction operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include overseeing the project lifecycle, driving business development, managing P&L, and leading a team to maintain safety and regulatory compliance. The role demands a hands-on approach, deep technical knowledge of civil construction processes, and a proven track record in construction management and business development. Applicants for the Vice President of Civil Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, with an advanced degree or MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of civil construction experience, including at least 7 years' in senior leadership or executive roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grading, clearing, earthwork operations, and site development best practices, as well as proficiency in construction management and estimating software. Strong financial acumen, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and regulatory standards are essential. Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, or CCM are a plus. The role also involves travel to project sites as necessary.
